Most of what we inspect in this part of the island is high-rise. A compact unit means going deep into the details:
- Floor and wall tiles. Tapped for hollowness and checked for lippage, chips and grout. Large-format tiles need particular care.
- Bathrooms. Floor falls to the trap, gaps around the trap and kerb, leaks under the basin.
- Balcony doors and windows. How they run, lock and seal, and any water marks on the sill.
- Buying to rent out? If you are away, the report gives you each finding with its location. A landlord and tenant condition report also gives you a record for later tenancies.
